The Arcadia Reptile ProT5 UV-B Kit arrives complete with high quality electronics, a highly effective but removable reflector and a choice of High Output T5 UVB lamp.This easy to use Kit can be fixed easily inside a vivarium, rested upon a wire meshed glassed terrarium or even hung within an enclosure (where safe to do so).Its sleek design and specially curved reflector will ensure that you use less space but project as much light forward as possible. Mercury Vapour bulbs are safe when they are kept intact, given sufficient room and hung in a vertical position. the vertical position allows convection currents to circulate within the bulb, prolonging its lifespan. As with all Mercury Vapour Bulbs, these cannot be used with a thermostat or external ballast and should only be used in large enclosures, or open-top tables.
