World of Exotics is the North West’s specialist exotic pet retailer, based in Bromborough on the Wirral. Our team works with reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates and other exotic animals every day, and we are passionate about sharing that knowledge in a fun and responsible way.

Our animal encounters are designed to inspire curiosity, build confidence and give children a positive experience with animals they may not usually get the chance to meet.

Safe Animal Handling

Safety is at the heart of every party.

All handling is fully supervised, and children are guided through how to interact with each animal calmly and respectfully. Hand hygiene is included as part of the session, and animals are selected carefully based on the group, venue and event type.

We always reserve the right to adjust the animals used on the day if needed for welfare, safety or suitability reasons.

Important Information

Animal welfare comes first at all times. The animals attending will be chosen by our team based on suitability, health, temperament and the event environment.

Children must be supervised by responsible adults throughout the party.

Some animals may be display-only, while others may be suitable for supervised handling.

Hand washing or hand sanitising will be required after animal handling.

For mobile parties, the venue must be suitable, safe and able to provide an appropriate space for the encounter.

How Long Does A Party Last?

Our reptile birthday parties can usually be tailored to suit your event, with session length depending on the party type, number of children and venue.

Most birthday encounter sessions work best as a focused animal experience within the wider party, rather than running for the full duration of the celebration. We offer packages starting from 1 hour encounters with options to extend the encounter session by 30 minutes.
